It will enable you to make full use of your professional specialism – taking the strategic lead on primary performance, working in partnership with headteachers to build on good practice and provide support where it is needed. You will also be encouraged to think across the full education journey, working with secondary colleagues to consider how to improve transition, align the curriculum better, and ensure that students’ learning and love of learning is maintained through the phases.
Working with Rochdale Sixth Form College, you will help embed young people’s ambitions and aspirations at the earliest stages of their learning. Furthermore, as part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will play an involved role in setting our future direction and strategy.
As we embark on a period of growth, with new primary schools joining and others looking to join, the timing couldn’t be better.
